KEIRU
Keirumetanhtamun (or Keiru, for short) is the new king of Rukhros, the kingdom to the north. He’s also their royal prophet. Rumor has it he might be dying from a mysterious curse. He and Itha have been betrothed since birth.
ITHA
Princess Itha is next in line to the Paralian throne, but she is much more interested in her studies of divinity. She daydreams about true love, but has a feeling she won’t find it in an arranged marriage with a guy she’s never met.
BELOR
Belor Cavalris is a royal guard in the court of Paralia, and Itha’s best friend. He is ardently loyal to the royal family, especially King Omassu, who treats him like a son.
KING OMASSU
King Omassu is Itha’s father and the benevolent ruler of Paralia. He sees nothing but the best in everyone.
JATHARA
Jathara is the royal prophet of Paralia, serving and advising the king on the word of the gods. She leads the Sisters – a guild of cloaked prophets who have made an oath of silence in order to better hear the divine – and she is indisputably the strongest prophet in all the kingdoms.
FADAKA
Fadaka is one of Paralia’s two Guardians—living statues gifted by the gods to protect the throne.
WURA
Wura is Fadaka’s sister, and the other of Paralia’s Guardians.
YANA
Yana has been seen crawling through the cracks in the palace. She seems to believe the gods will return very soon. What is she doing? Who is she working with?
